When I first heard about Richard
Linklater’s newest movie, Boyhood, it just seemed
like an idea too incredible to miss, a production 12 years in the making
portraying the lives of a family over the course of the childhood of the
protagonist. I wanted so much to like it and I was practically terrified that I
wouldn’t. I won’t spoil any of it for you but it really was incredible. It’s
worth the price of admission just for the music.
P.S. It’s odd for me to say this but the film makes me miss Texas and the whole American West.
