One Down and Many, Many More to Go

Michael T. Flynn, the national security adviser, resigned on Monday night after it was revealed that he had misled Vice President Mike Pence and other top White House officials about his conversations with the Russian ambassador to the United States.

This is officially the first in what is assured to be an avalanche of scandals to befall the Trump® administration. What could you expect from the most mendacious presidency of my lifetime in which the president himself has lied about almost everything he has discussed since taking office less than a month ago? His lies are too numerous to even count and range in importance from the most trivial (crowd size at his inauguration) to voter fraud (he claims 3 million illegal votes for Clinton yet has zero evidence).

The lies and spin being applied to every aspect of Trump® policy have been absolutely overwhelming thus far. Even in his resignation scumbag Flynn puked out a complete lie:

… in his resignation he sought to praise the president. “In just three weeks,” Mr. Flynn said, the new president “has reoriented American foreign policy in fundamental ways to restore America’s leadership position in the world.”

Leadership position in the world? Fucking hardly.

Without a doubt this is the most incompetent and amateurish administration in the last 100 years, if not ever. Trump®’s posse of sycophants are mostly shameless liars and propagandists very willing to abandon any sense of honor, decency, and humanity to maintain control. Vice president Pence has already proved himself to be completely devoid of principles after backing the Muslim ban after opposing it during the campaign.
