My piano teacher for today is none
other than Oscar Peterson. I’m an unworthy but attentive student. Everyone can
learn a lot about jazz from this beacon. At my level this is sort of like
having Lewis Hamilton as your driver's education teacher. It's amazing that
this was what was on TV a while back. Of course, there was also tons of shit on
the boob tube like Gilligan's Island, too.
Dick Cavett is like the
old Joni Michell song, you don’t know what you got til it’s gone.
